Big Buddha

Greenbelt 3, Level 2
December 3, 2009
.
Big Buddha, similar to its companion, serves chinese food in a very casual dining setting. Food choices, taste and cost all fall between that of fast food chains like chowking, luk yuen, etc. but below authentic chinese places like gloria maris, dragon gate, emerald garden, peking garden and the like.
.
So, if you are happy with the regular chinese dishes like yang chow fried rice, sweet and sour pork, lemon chicken, salted spare ribs, beef tenderloin and so forth, then you'll be happy here. But if your taste looks for shark's fin soup, abalone, scallops, fresh steamed fish, crabs, duck and so on, then you'd probably be disappointed.
.
For some reason the acoustics in this branch make it very noisy, thus, it is a bit difficult to hear the conversation. Service is very good as they staff deliver food while they're still hot.
